Help make Roc City Skatepark a reality.

Building a world-class skatepark of this caliber takes considerable capital. So far, the Citizens Planning Committee has received grants and contributions from The Tony Hawk Foundation and the City of Rochester. But we’ve got a long way to go in raising the necessary $2,000,000.

Here’s where you come in. Give at any level. Individual, event sponsor, corporate, even leadership style with naming rights. Contribute what you can, when you can. And be a part of Roc City history in the making.

Leadership Giving with Naming Rights

The right to name the RCP can be yours. For $600,000. Short of a donation at this level, the RCP will remain the Roc City Park. If individuals or corporations are interested in the naming rights to the entire park, please contact any member of the RCP Citizens Planning Group. We will be more than happy to court you and your interest in securing the right to name the RCP.

Naming rights for park features are available as well. For example, an area commonly referred to as the “kiddie pool” which caters to beginners and small children. Or, how about your name on an obstacle, ramp or art garden? If you have the means and are willing to donate at a level higher than $1,000, please contact any member of the Citizen Planning Group and we would welcome the opportunity to honor you by giving you the right to name an obstacle in the RCP.

Corporate Sponsorship

Corporate Sponsorship is a mutually beneficial way for the RCP fundraising effort to secure financial resources needed to build the park and for corporations to get free advertising on this web page, as well as in current and future mailings, gifts, and promotions. The breadth of reach this effort extends beyond Rochester and upstate New York. Skateboarding and BMX are cultures very dedicated to their sport, and people will travel great distance to use a good park. For example, it is common for people from Rochester to travel to Cleveland, Lexington, Philadelphia, New York City, and other cities for the express purpose of using a skate park.

If your company is interested in donating products or services toward the realization of the RCP in exchange for advertising with significant reach and value, please contact any member of the RCP Citizen Planning Group.

Individual Contributions

Your generous gift to the Roc City Skate Park (RCP) is a tax-deductible contribution to a not-for-profit organization. And for every donation made, we’ll send cool, limited edition RCP merchandise.

The Center for Popular Research, Education and Policy (C-PREP) is functioning as the fiduciary agent for this project, and the construction of the RCP meshes with the mission of the C-PREP.
